지나 [펌] 모래위의 발자욱 2005-03-25        어느 날 밤, 꿈을 꾸었네        주와 함께 바닷가 거니는        꿈을 꾸었네        하늘을 가로질러        빛이 임한 그 바닷가        모래 위에 두 짝의 발자국을 보았네        한 짝은 내 것        또 한 짝은 주님의 것        거기서        내 인생의 장면들을 보았네        마지막 내 발자국이 멈춘 곳에서...        내 삶의 길을 돌이켜 보았을 때        자주 내 삶의 길에        오직 한 짝의 발자국만 보았네        그때는 내 인생이        가장 비참하고 슬픈 계절이었네        나는 의아해서        주님께 물었네       "주님, 제가 당신을 따르기로 했을 때        당신은 저와 항상 함께 있겠다고        약속하셨지요..        그러나 보십시오        제가 주님을 가장 필요로 했을 때        그때 거기에는        한 짝의 발자국밖에는 없었습니다        주님은 저를 떠나 계셨지요?"        주님께서 대답하시었네       "나의 귀하고 소중한 아이여        나는 너를 사랑했고        너를 결코 떠나지 않았단다        네 시련의 때 고통의 때에도...        네가 본 오직 한 발자국 그것은        내 발자국이니라        그때 내가 너를 등에 업고 걸었노라"       [보라, 내가 세상 끝 날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라]                                                             - 마태복음 28:20        <Footprints in the sand>        One night I had a dream.        dreamed I was walking along        the beach with the Lord.        Across the sky flashed scenes from my        life. For each scene, I noticed        two sets of footprints in the sand;        one belonging to me, and the other        to the Lord.        When the last scene of my life        flashed before us, I looked back        at the footprints in the sand.        I noticed that many times along        the path of my life there was        only one set of footprints.        I also noticed        that it happened at the very lowest        and saddest times in my life.        This really bothered me and I        questioned the Lord about it.       "Lord, you said that once I decided        to follow you, you'd walk with me        all the way.               But I have noticed that during        the most troublesome times in my life,        there is only one set of footprints.        I don't understand why        when I needed you most you would        leave me."        The Lord replied,        "My precious, precious child,         I love you and I would never leave you.         During your times of trial and suffering,         when you see only one set of footprints,         it was then that I carried you."          "I am with you always."   Matthew 28:20
